About Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath is a distinguished judge of the Supreme Court of India. He graduated in law from the University of Lucknow and began his legal career as an Advocate in 1987. For 17 years, he practised extensively in various fields of law before being appointed as an Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court in 2004. In 2006, he was elevated as a Permanent Judge at the same court. Over the years, Justice Nath has contributed significantly to the Indian judiciary through landmark judgments and his expertise in diverse areas of law.
About the Opportunity
The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath is inviting applications for internships on a rolling basis for the months of September 2025 (1st–26th), October 2025 (5th–31st), November 2025, and December 2025 (1st–21st). This internship provides an invaluable chance to gain exposure to legal research and judicial functioning at the Supreme Court of India. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with the judge’s team, assisting in research and analysis of ongoing matters, thereby enhancing their practical understanding of the law.
Mode
The internship will be conducted in physical mode, allowing interns to work directly in the Supreme Court environment. Being physically present also enables better mentorship, hands-on research opportunities, and a deeper understanding of judicial procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
Only students in the final year (5th year) of a 5-year BA/BBA/BSc.LL.B programme, or the 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B programme, as well as recent law graduates, are eligible to apply. Candidates are expected to have a strong foundation in legal research, analytical skills, and a keen interest in understanding the functioning of the judiciary. This internship is best suited for those aspiring to build careers in litigation, academia, or judicial clerkships.
