This opportunity is open to students and recent graduates in law, public policy, or related disciplines in the humanities, who are passionate about constitutional research and local culture.
Mode
Roles and Responsibilities
The intern will contribute primarily to a research project that explores Tamil-language literature, folk and cultural expressions, and legal content linked to the Indian Constitution.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting fieldwork and empirical research within Tamil Nadu

Identifying and analysing Tamil constitutional materials

Collaborating with Vidhi Fellows on-ground for research collection
Note: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil is mandatory for this role.
Eligibility Criteria

Current student or recent graduate in law, public policy, or humanities

Must be physically present in Chennai during August 2025

Fluent in Tamil (spoken, written, and reading)

Demonstrated interest in constitutional law

Prior involvement in legal awareness initiatives or related work is an advantage
