Eligibility
The internship is open to law students who are already familiar with the core principles of legal study and are prepared to actively engage in advanced legal work. Applicants must be at least in their 3rd year of a five-year integrated LL.B. program or in their 2nd year of a three-year LL.B. course. Role and Responsibilities
Selected interns will gain first-hand experience in litigation practice at the Supreme Court of India. They will be engaged in comprehensive legal research, preparation of case briefs, drafting of petitions, and analysis of judgments. Interns will also get exposure to matters related to white-collar crimes, constitutional challenges, and environmental issues. Since preference is given to candidates opting for a physical internship, interns based in New Delhi will have opportunities to attend court hearings, assist in case preparation, and observe proceedings directly.
