Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters, supporting fee earners from initial instruction through to completion and post-registration processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with client onboarding, ID checks, and source of funds verification
- Obtain and review title documents
- Prepare sale and auction packs
- Conduct property searches and draft replies to CPSE and SCR enquiries
- Assist in preparing reports on title
- Draft landlord and tenant documents and sale contracts
- Prepare Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns
- Handle Land Registry applications and requisitions
- Prepare completion statements, invoices, and accounts forms
- Assist with post-completion formalities and file closure
- Liaise with clients, agents, and third parties
- Attend meetings and take notes
- Support corporate property work when required
Eligibility:
- Prior experience as a paralegal in commercial property (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and professional approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal systems
