Position Overview:
The firm is hiring a Paralegal on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for extension. The role involves working closely with an investment banking client and supporting legal tech-driven contract management and onboarding processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the codification and analysis of complex financial agreements, including:
- ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association)
- GMRA (Global Master Repurchase Agreement)
- Managing the client lifecycle, including:
- Onboarding
- Project delivery
- Business-as-usual (BAU) processes
- Collaborating with clients to:
- Capture requirements
- Implement legal solutions
- Working as part of a team to ensure:
- Smooth workflow
- High-quality client experience
- Assisting in legal documentation review and contract management
Eligibility:
- Minimum 1+ year experience as a Paralegal (especially in documentation review)
- Experience in:
- Legal operations
- Contract negotiation
- Legal onboarding (preferred)
- Exposure to capital markets contracts (ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA) is desirable
- Law degree preferred
- Strong:
- Communication skills
- Professional conduct
