A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its property law team. The firm is known for handling residential property transactions efficiently while maintaining a strong client-focused approach.
Position Overview:
The Conveyancing Paralegal will assist in managing residential property matters, supporting solicitors and fee earners in handling transactions from instruction to completion, while ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchases, and remortgages
- Drafting and preparing legal documents such as contracts and transfer deeds
- Conducting property searches and due diligence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
- Maintaining case files and ensuring proper documentation
- Managing administrative tasks and supporting fee earners
- Ensuring transactions progress within deadlines and compliance standards
Eligibility:
- Prior experience in conveyancing or property law preferred (often 1+ year)
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process and legal documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management systems
Job Details:
- Opportunity: Conveyancing Paralegal
- Stipend/Remuneration: Approx. £26,000 – £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
