Job Overview
Officebanao is hiring a Legal Manager with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. The role combines commercial contracts, project compliance, banking/finance documentation, and stakeholder management for a design-build business.
Roles and Responsibilities
Mode: Fulltime, Offline
– Draft, review, and manage service agreements, customer contracts, vendor agreements, SHA, SSA, T&Cs, and other company agreements
– Handle tripartite and project-specific contracts involving clients, contractors, and banks
– Prepare and maintain company policies, internal guidelines, and compliance trackers
– Ensure compliance with BOCW, CLRA, EPF, ESI, GST, and Shops and Establishments Act
– Manage company and project-level insurance documentation and renewals
– Support banking and finance documentation, including due diligence, M&A, and investment paperwork
– Coordinate with external lawyers for legal opinions, disputes, and property-related matters
– Maintain documentation and records for legal and compliance activities
– Work with internal teams to ensure timely completion of contracts and compliances
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with:
– 3–5 years of experience with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure preferred
– Good understanding of commercial contracts, compliance, and company law
– Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
– Strong understanding of business operations
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and meet deadlines
– Practical and solution-oriented approach to legal and business issues
Who Can Apply
Legal professionals with 3–5 years PQE. Mix of law firm + in-house preferred. Exposure to real estate, construction, or project-based contracts is a plus.
