Position Overview:
The firm is hiring a Paralegal (Full-Time) for its Didsbury office. This is an entry-level litigation role with full training provided, making it suitable for candidates without prior legal experience, especially those with strong client-handling or sales backgrounds.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Handling low-value claims from initiation to settlement
- Managing a caseload under solicitor supervision
- Communicating regularly with clients regarding case updates
- Filing claims through the MOJ Portal and Official Injury Claims Portal
- Instructing medical experts and assessing claim valuation
- Negotiating settlements with relevant parties
- Ensuring compliance with procedural and legal requirements
- Issuing court proceedings where necessary
- Meeting performance targets and contributing to firm revenue
Eligibility:
- No prior legal experience required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer-facing or sales roles preferred
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Target-driven and proactive attitude
