Position Overview:
The role of a Post Completions Paralegal involves managing the final stages of property transactions after completion. It requires handling registrations, documentation, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, particularly with HM Land Registry and lender obligations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing post-completion files in residential conveyancing matters
- Submitting applications to HM Land Registry
- Handling Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions
- Ensuring compliance with lender requirements and legal procedures
- Resolving requisitions raised by Land Registry
- Maintaining accurate records and case tracking systems
- Liaising with solicitors, clients, and third parties where required
Eligibility:
- Prior experience in conveyancing or post-completion work preferred
- Basic understanding of UK property law procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files efficiently
