Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy conveyancing team. The role involves assisting fee earners in handling a wide range of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, offering excellent exposure and career growth opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drafting and preparing legal documents related to residential conveyancing
- Conducting property searches and managing case files
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and lenders
- Assisting in progressing transactions through to completion
- Supporting matters involving:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Buy-to-let transactions
- Shared ownership and other specialist residential matters
Eligibility:
- Prior experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a residential property team
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
- Familiarity with leasehold or new build transactions (preferred but not mandatory)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
