Position Overview:

The firm is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy conveyancing team. The role involves assisting fee earners in handling a wide range of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, offering excellent exposure and career growth opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and preparing legal documents related to residential conveyancing
  • Conducting property searches and managing case files
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and lenders
  • Assisting in progressing transactions through to completion
  • Supporting matters involving:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • Buy-to-let transactions
    • Shared ownership and other specialist residential matters

Eligibility:

  • Prior experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a residential property team
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
  • Familiarity with leasehold or new build transactions (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
