MZM Legal LLP is actively expanding its Litigation Practice and is currently hiring a Criminal Litigation Lawyer to join its dynamic legal team. Roles and Responsibilities
As part of MZM Legal’s Litigation team, your responsibilities will involve end-to-end handling of criminal litigation cases. You will be expected to represent clients in various courts, ranging from lower courts to high courts, in criminal proceedings. Drafting key legal documents such as bail applications, anticipatory bail, complaints, writ petitions, quashing petitions, and other pleadings will form a critical part of your duties. Additionally, you’ll contribute to in-depth legal research and assist in developing case strategies. The role demands legal precision, quick thinking in courtroom settings, and the ability to handle complex legal issues under pressure.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in criminal litigation. A degree in B.A. LL.B. from a recognized university is essential. Applicants must hold a valid Sanad and be enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. Fluency in spoken Marathi is mandatory, given the nature of litigation work in local courts. The firm seeks individuals who are confident, proactive, and committed to upholding the highest standards of legal advocacy. Prior experience with courtroom representation and coordination with investigative agencies will be an added advantage.
