Job Overview

WizzFinancial Group is seeking a skilled Junior Legal Counsel to join its dynamic legal team based in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Legal, CEO, and Directors, this role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated junior lawyer to gain substantial in-house experience within the FinTech industry.

This position is well-suited for candidates who are detail-oriented, commercially aware, and proactive in delivering legal support across multiple business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and revise commercial contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts
Ensure compliance with applicable UAE laws, as well as DIFC/ADGM regulations and broader financial frameworks
Conduct legal research on contractual, regulatory, and corporate issues across different jurisdictions
Maintain and organize legal documentation, corporate records, and compliance-related files
Liaise with external counsel on litigation matters, regulatory submissions, and special legal initiatives
Track legal and regulatory updates relevant to the group’s operations
Assist internal teams with legal inquiries and provide day-to-day support under the guidance of senior legal counsel

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M or Master’s in Law is advantageous
1–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within commercial law or the financial services sector (either in a law firm or corporate legal team)
Familiarity with UAE legal systems and FinTech regulations is highly preferred
Strong skills in legal drafting and research
Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
