About the Internship
The Khaitan & Co Internship Programme offers law students an opportunity to gain practical exposure to the functioning of one of India’s premier full-service law firms. Interns work closely with lawyers across various practice areas, assisting in legal research, drafting, case analysis, due diligence, and client-related assignments.
The programme provides valuable insights into corporate law, dispute resolution, regulatory practice, and emerging legal sectors, helping students develop professional skills, industry knowledge, and a deeper understanding of legal practice in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Eligibility
- Students currently enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated law programme; or
- Students currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. programme from a recognized university.
Applicants should possess strong research, analytical, and drafting skills, along with a keen interest in pursuing a career in the legal profession.
Stipend
Paid internship opportunity. The stipend is performance-based and may vary depending on the intern’s contribution, quality of work, and overall performance during the internship.
Duration
Generally ranges from 4–8 weeks, subject to the firm’s internship cycle and requirements.
