Role
The Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) is responsible for producing a wide range of legal work product in support of attorneys and paralegals. Key responsibilities include drafting and modifying legal documents, coordinating filing and e-filing processes, managing correspondence, organizing attorney schedules, and handling travel arrangements. The LAA will also support client billing by preparing time entries, processing expenses, and assisting with budget monitoring. Maintaining paper and electronic files, reviewing incoming and outgoing mail, and ensuring compliance with firm policies are essential parts of the role. Beyond administrative tasks, the position requires proactive support of attorneys by anticipating their needs and ensuring deadlines are met.
