Internship Details
This is a 3-month in-office internship located in Delhi, with the possibility of extension depending on your performance and contribution to ongoing projects. As an intern, you will be exposed to both legal and operational aspects of asset management. You will be involved in tasks ranging from legal research to contract negotiation, compliance tracking, and transaction support. This immersive opportunity is ideal for law students eager to explore the intersection of law, finance, and technology. It also offers direct exposure to digital asset regulations and operational processes in a real-world hedge fund environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
Applicants must be final-year students enrolled in either a 5-year integrated law program or a 3-year LLB course. A strong interest in finance laws, compliance, and digital asset regulations is essential. Candidates should have excellent legal research and drafting skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong organizational abilities. The role demands adaptability in a fast-paced setting, proficiency in reviewing and drafting contracts, and the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Being proactive, solution-oriented, and precise will be key to thriving in this role, as will excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Skills and Experience
While prior internship experience at Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firms or corporate legal departments is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Demonstrated academic or practical interest in areas such as investment law, financial regulation, or digital assets will be a strong plus. Familiarity with compliance processes, evolving legal frameworks, and the ability to leverage AI tools for research and analysis will further enhance your candidacy. These additional skills will help you stand out and enable you to contribute more effectively to the legal and operational requirements of the firm.
Expected Key Deliverables
In this role, you will:

Conduct detailed legal research on compliance, digital asset laws, and regulatory developments in asset management.

Draft, review, and assist in negotiating investment, vendor, and service agreements.

Support fund formation, corporate actions, and expansion projects.

Assist in due diligence, documentation, and regulatory governance.

Maintain compliance trackers, legal records, and internal SOPs.

Coordinate with service providers on onboarding, documentation, and reporting.
