About the Job
Google’s Legal Department is at the forefront of shaping how the law adapts to the digital age, and as a Legal Assistant, you will play an essential role in driving that mission forward. Eligibility
To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with two years of legal work experience in a law firm, government body, or an in-house legal department. Preferred candidates will have strong multi-tasking abilities to handle multiple deadlines, excellent organizational and communication skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities, particularly in managing and reviewing legal documents.
Responsibilities
As a Legal Assistant at Google, you will be entrusted with a wide range of legal and administrative tasks. This includes managing and organizing information and documentation, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and conducting legal reviews, due diligence, and investigations. You will provide guidance on risks, oversee corporate and transactional matters, manage closing processes, and ensure post-closing integration and administration. Additionally, you will conduct fact-finding investigations, respond to information requests from regulatory agencies, and support compliance, governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other high-complexity legal matters. You will also help develop and implement metrics to evaluate policies and procedures, analyze data, and make recommendations for improvement.
Location
