Position Overview
The Legal Counsel role at Adobe offers an exciting opportunity to work with dynamic product, technology, and business teams. The position focuses on supporting Adobe’s Digital Advertising, Learning, and Publishing (D‑ALP) business unit while also handling regional operational matters. As part of Adobe’s legal team in Noida, the candidate will advise on product development, contracts, and compliance while mitigating legal risks. The position reports to the Associate General Counsel and plays a key role in ensuring legal compliance while enabling innovation.
Key Responsibilities
The Legal Counsel will advise Adobe’s product and engineering teams on legal issues impacting product design, development, and launch. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex technology agreements, including IP licenses and development contracts. The candidate will collaborate with multiple internal teams—such as sales, finance, and procurement—and legal specialists in privacy, compliance, and patents. Responsibilities also include training employees on legal topics like open-source use, data privacy, and security. The counsel will monitor regulatory trends, manage legal risks, and coordinate with external law firms on specialized matters, ensuring Adobe operates within legal frameworks while supporting innovation.

Adobe seeks a qualified lawyer in India with 5–7 years of relevant experience in technology law, preferably in the IT/ITeS sector. Experience advising product teams on technology launches, including AI and generative AI, is highly valuable.
