Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support AWS’s Indian business operations, primarily handling:

Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with a range of clients — from startups to large enterprises — and technology partners

Advising on cloud service contracts, IT partnerships, digital training, and transformation consulting

Offering legal guidance to senior management and business stakeholders

Addressing regulatory compliance and managing legal challenges in ongoing business relationships

Participating in broader legal projects within the Amazon Legal team as required
This position demands a high level of independence, enthusiasm for technology, and strong problem-solving skills in dynamic business scenarios.
Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of legal experience

Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution

Licensed to practice law in India or other major jurisdictions such as the US or UK

Solid experience in transactional law, drafting, and negotiations from a reputed law firm or in-house legal team

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications

In-house legal experience at a technology company or a technology-focused practice at a law firm

Expertise in IT and technology contracting, outsourcing, or licensing

Familiarity with legal matters related to intellectual property, data privacy, and competition law
