Key Responsibilities

Draft and manage legal paperwork such as rental agreements, legal notices, affidavits, and service terms

Oversee recovery matters involving product defaulters or unpaid dues—coordinate with law enforcement and field teams

Represent Rentkar in civil and criminal proceedings—handle complaint filings, court attendance, and documentation

Collaborate with external counsels and legal bodies to resolve disputes efficiently

Monitor ongoing rental transactions for legal escalations, including fraud, loss, or damage

Advise departments like operations, HR, and finance on risk mitigation and legal compliance

Develop fast-track legal strategies for issues emerging across multiple cities
Candidate Profile

Licensed practicing lawyer with expertise in criminal and civil law

Prior experience with litigation, police engagement, and court procedures

Comfortable balancing field responsibilities with documentation tasks

Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex legal content for internal teams

Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in asset recovery, property law, or similar fields

Background in rental platforms, e-commerce, or fast-paced business models

Fluency in English and a regional language
