Eligibility
The internship is open to law students who are keen to build a solid foundation in litigation practice. Preference will be given to students in their early years of study—specifically, those in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of a five-year integrated law program and 1st or 2nd year of a three-year LL.B. course. The internship is designed to help students understand the real-world application of legal principles, particularly in the context of trial courts. Candidates who are enthusiastic about exploring criminal law, civil disputes, and regulatory matters will find this internship especially useful. Role and Responsibilities
Selected interns will gain firsthand exposure to courtroom proceedings at the District and Sessions Court, Lucknow. They will have the opportunity to observe arguments, analyze case strategies, and understand the day-to-day working of an advocate’s chamber. Interns may also be tasked with drafting, legal research, assisting in case preparation, and understanding procedural aspects of different matters. The role is immersive and requires active participation, providing students with the skills to connect academic knowledge with practical insights.
