Six Lawyers, a reputed legal practice based in Kolkata, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring legal professionals. Our firm specializes in real estate, civil, and property law, providing clients with comprehensive legal services. This internship is designed to help students and fresh graduates gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of a law firm, from assisting in legal research to observing court proceedings. Roles and Responsibilities
Interns at Six Lawyers will engage in legal research and drafting, working on matters directly related to civil and property law. They will have the chance to observe court proceedings, gaining valuable insight into real-life litigation strategies and courtroom practices. Additionally, interns will assist the team in preparing case briefs, reviewing legal documents, and learning the procedural aspects of legal work. Eligibility Criteria
We welcome applications from law students in their third year or above of a five-year program, or second year or above of a three-year program. Recent law graduates who are seeking practical litigation experience are also encouraged to apply. A keen interest in civil and property law, coupled with a willingness to learn and work in a professional environment, is essential. Candidates must be available to work in-office in Kolkata, ensuring active participation in the firm’s daily legal activities.
Internship Details
This is an in-office internship based in Kolkata, ensuring direct mentorship and guidance from practicing lawyers. The minimum duration is one month, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement. While the internship is unpaid, exceptional contributions may be recognized through performance-based incentives. Upon successful completion, interns will be awarded a Certificate of Internship, validating their practical experience and commitment to the legal profession.
