About the Opportunity
Heads Up For Tails is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern at its New Delhi office. This role is an excellent opportunity for law students or fresh graduates interested in gaining practical exposure to corporate legal work in a fast-growing retail and services brand. Interns will get first-hand experience in contract drafting, compliance, policy-making, and coordination with external counsels, while also learning about the legal aspects of running a large-scale consumer business.
Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will assist in drafting and reviewing NDAs, SLAs, lease agreements, vendor contracts, and supply agreements. They will support contract negotiations with franchisees, vendors, and partners, as well as prepare legal notices and draft responses. The role includes conducting in-depth legal research, developing company policies and compliance manuals, and coordinating with external counsels on litigation and regulatory matters. Interns will also help maintain legal records, contract repositories, case trackers, and contribute to compliance checks and internal audits.
Mode & Location
This is an onsite internship at the company’s office in New Delhi. The position provides significant hands-on experience in corporate and commercial law, making it ideal for candidates who wish to work closely with an in-house legal team.
