Job Details

This is a six-month, full-time, paid internship based in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of INR 25,000 and will be expected to join immediately. The internship is ideal for students in their fourth or final year of BA.LLB, BBA.LLB, or pursuing LLM from reputed law schools. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in corporate and technology law while working directly with business and legal teams in a fast-paced AI startup environment.


Eligibility

Applicants must be in their fourth or final year of BA.LLB/BBA.LLB/LLM from a recognized law school. They should have excellent legal research and drafting skills, with a strong interest in technology law, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and collaborative platforms like Google Suite and Notion is essential. Attention to detail and a sense of ownership are key attributes for success in this role. Candidates with prior internships at corporate law firms or in-house legal teams, especially those with exposure to technology contracts, data privacy, or intellectual property issues, will be preferred. Experience in startup or SaaS-based environments will be an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities

The intern will conduct in-depth research on emerging areas such as AI governance, data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), intellectual property rights, and compliance frameworks. They will assist in reviewing, redlining, and managing various legal agreements like NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, and partnership contracts, while ensuring proper documentation and version control. The role also includes supporting compliance audits, risk assessments, and data privacy initiatives, as well as preparing necessary filings for corporate governance and licensing. Additionally, the intern will contribute to strategic legal projects, manage internal documentation, and support knowledge management processes.
