Mode of Internship
The internship will be conducted physically, offering candidates the invaluable experience of working in a real legal environment. Physical internships allow direct exposure to courtroom proceedings, client interactions, and chamber discussions—elements that virtual internships cannot fully replicate. This hands-on approach helps students develop professional discipline, enhance their understanding of court etiquette, and build their interpersonal legal communication skills. Eligibility Criteria
Preference will be given to law students in the later stages of their academic journey. Specifically, students in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of a five-year integrated law program, or those in the 2nd or final year of a three-year LL.B. program, are encouraged to apply. This eligibility requirement ensures that selected candidates possess sufficient legal knowledge and academic maturity to contribute meaningfully to the work at the chambers. Internship Location
Selected interns will work from two locations: the C.K. Daphtary Lawyers’ Chambers at the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, and Kaushambi, Ghaziabad-201010. Both locations provide a dynamic and stimulating legal environment. The Supreme Court Chambers offer interns a first-hand look at top-level litigation and constitutional practice, while the Kaushambi office ensures access to focused legal research, drafting assignments, and internal case discussions. This geographical duality allows interns to gain a well-rounded exposure to different aspects of legal practice and court proceedings.
