Position Overview
The firm is offering an Internship Opportunity at its Chennai office. This role is designed for students who are eager to gain practical courtroom exposure and understand the nuances of litigation practice, from filing procedures to arguing matters before judicial forums.
Roles and Responsibilities

Litigation Support: Assisting in the preparation of case files for hearings in the Madras High Court and Subordinate Courts.

Legal Research: Conducting comprehensive research on the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), CrPC, and specific commercial statutes.

Drafting: Preparing initial drafts of plaints, written statements, affidavits, and legal notices.

Court Attendance: Accompanying seniors to court proceedings to observe trials, arguments, and procedural interims.
Eligibility

Education: Law students currently in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year (5-year course) or 2nd and 3rd year (3-year course).

Skills: Proficiency in English and Tamil (preferred for local court work), strong legal analytical skills, and familiarity with legal databases.
