About the Role
We are seeking a sharp and business-oriented Legal Manager to manage everyday legal operations, handle commercial contract negotiations, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in corporate and regulatory law, be a strategic thinker, and collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Review & Negotiation

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including MSAs, SaaS contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements

Collaborate with sales and business units to close deals swiftly while managing legal risks
Legal Risk & Advisory

Offer pragmatic legal counsel on operational, contractual, and regulatory issues

Identify legal risks in business practices and recommend risk mitigation strategies
Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring

Track evolving laws in areas like fintech, telecom, data privacy, and labor regulations

Interpret legal updates and adjust internal policies and procedures accordingly
Policy & Documentation Support

Assist in drafting and maintaining internal compliance policies and legal documents

Ensure systematic document management including SOPs and legal templates
Contract Management

Manage the contract lifecycle including renewals, record-keeping, and performance tracking

Facilitate seamless execution of contracts by liaising with internal teams
Legal Coordination

Work with external legal counsel on litigation, intellectual property, and niche compliance matters

Support legal audits, investigations, and internal compliance initiatives
Candidate Requirements

Law degree with 5–8 years of relevant legal experience (preferably in SaaS, BPO, or technology-based companies)

Proficient in Indian contract law, labor law, and IT/data protection regulations

Strong commercial understanding with the ability to align legal advice to business goals

Demonstrated experience in managing outside counsel and internal stakeholders
