Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Manager to join our family office and provide legal guidance across our expanding portfolio of businesses. The ideal candidate should bring deep legal expertise, particularly in Contracts, M&A, Arbitration, NCLT matters, and family office litigation, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal support for business operations in sectors like solar, EV, and real estate.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements including commercial contracts, facility agreements, deeds of hypothecation, personal and corporate guarantees, etc.

  • Advise on day-to-day business law matters and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory standards.

  • Liaise with government departments and represent the business in legal and regulatory proceedings.

  • Handle litigation and dispute resolution, including issuing notices, filing cases, and defending the company’s interests.

  • Manage compliance, ethics, and corporate governance initiatives.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks arising from business strategies and operations.

  • Deliver timely and high-quality legal advice to support key business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in Law (LL.B) from a first-class university with a strong academic record.

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a mix of in-house roles in corporate family offices and top-tier law firms.

  • Proven expertise in corporate, commercial, and financial legal matters.

  • Exposure to M&A, project finance, EPC contracts, and dispute resolution.

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Hands-on experience managing external legal advisors and representing organizations in litigation.

  • Exceptional multitasking and time management skills in deadline-driven settings.
