Position Overview
The firm is offering a Legal Research and Drafting Internship for students who are passionate about criminal defense and trial advocacy. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with senior associates on complex criminal trials and white-collar crime investigations.
Roles and Responsibilities

In-depth Research: Conducting extensive legal research on matters involving the BNS/CrPC, PMLA, and other economic offence statutes.

Drafting Pleadings: Assisting in drafting bail applications, criminal revision petitions, writ petitions, and SLPs.

Litigation Assistance: Helping the team prepare for court hearings, summarizing case files, and compiling evidence.

Court Attendance: Observing proceedings in the High Court and Supreme Court to understand the nuances of criminal litigation.
Eligibility

Education: Law students in their 2nd year or above (for 3-year LL.B.) or 4th year or above (for 5-year LL.B.).

Skills: Strong interest in Criminal Law, excellent research and analytical skills, and proficiency in legal databases like SCC Online.
