Kayser & Company is hiring a Litigation Associate

Eligibility

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 2 years
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. with specialization in IP (preferred)
Strong command over trademark and copyright laws, with knowledge of
patent and design laws.
Legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters with strict
deadlines.
Good communication skills (written and verbal) for client interaction and
regulatory correspondence.
Proficiency in IP databases and online filing systems.

Responsibilities

Drafting, filing, and prosecuting trademark, copyright, and design applications before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Office, and Patent Office.
Preparing responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and appeals.
Conducting IP searches, opinions, and due diligence exercises.
Maintaining and updating docketing records, deadlines, and prosecution status reports.
