Position Overview

This is an Assessment Internship designed for senior law students. Interns will move beyond basic tasks to actively assist in building criminal defense strategies. This role is a direct window into the functioning of the highest levels of the Indian judiciary, requiring a high degree of legal acumen and dedication.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Criminal Defense: Assisting in the preparation of defenses for complex criminal matters.

  • Appellate Work: Supporting matters specifically listed before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Courts.

  • Legal Research: Conducting exhaustive research on precedents, statutes, and procedural nuances of the BNS/CrPC and BSA.

  • Drafting: Preparing Special Leave Petitions (SLPs), Writ Petitions, and legal briefs.

Eligibility

  • Education: Final-year LL.B. or LL.M. students only.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated interest in criminal litigation.

  • Attributes: Professionalism, ability to handle high-pressure deadlines, and a deep commitment to the legal craft.
