Eligibility
The internship opportunity is open to dedicated law students or fresh graduates who are keen to specialize in Intellectual Property Law. Since the program is full-time and requires a commitment of at least two months, applicants must be available to work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the firm’s Delhi office. With only two vacancies available, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate strong interest in trademarks, copyrights, patents, and IP enforcement. Ideal candidates should possess solid legal research and drafting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Role and Responsibilities
Interns at MarkShield will actively contribute to ongoing matters, gaining practical exposure in diverse areas of Intellectual Property Law. Their work will include conducting comprehensive legal research related to trademarks, copyrights, design registrations, and commercial suits concerning IP laws. Interns will also assist in drafting IP search reports, preparing applications, plaints, and cease-and-desist notices, along with takedown and enforcement strategies. Additionally, they will be involved in reviewing case laws, summarizing judgments, and preparing articles on current IP issues. The program also provides exposure to litigation work and court proceedings, enabling interns to connect theoretical knowledge with practical courtroom experience.
