About the Internship
Burger Singh is inviting applications for legal trainees to join its team. This is a paid internship that also provides the possibility of being converted into a full-time position based on performance. The internship is ideal for fresh law graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in corporate legal work, particularly in the areas of franchising, vendor agreements, and intellectual property management.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should hold a B.A. LL.B. degree from a reputed university and have 0–1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE). The firm is looking for candidates with a strong interest in corporate and commercial law, along with good drafting, research, and negotiation skills. Fresh graduates with a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced corporate environment are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will assist the legal team in negotiating with franchisees and vendors, drafting and reviewing SLAs, product supply agreements, NDAs, and other corporate contracts. Additional responsibilities include preparing legal notices, drafting show-cause notices, conducting legal research, preparing policy documents, and coordinating with external counsel for specific inputs. The role ensures practical exposure to both legal advisory and compliance work within a corporate setup.
Duration & Location
The internship will be for a duration of 3 months and will be based in Gurgaon. This in-office internship is best suited for candidates who want real-time exposure to corporate legal processes and day-to-day business operations.
