internship aims to provide hands-on exposure to parliamentary processes and policy research during the Monsoon Session of Parliament 2026. Interns will work directly on legislative research, data analysis, and drafting parliamentary interventions as part of the Policy & Research team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Mode: In-office Internship
- Conduct research and data analysis on government schemes
- Draft parliamentary interventions: Questions, Zero Hour submissions, Rule 377 matters
- Analyze bills and parliamentary committee agendas
- Track parliamentary proceedings and major developments
- Assist in preparing reports and other knowledge outputs
Eligibility Criteria
- Students or recent graduates in law, public policy, economics, political science, or related fields with:
- Strong writing and critical thinking skills
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities
- Ability to work under deadlines in an in-office environment
- Prior legislative research experience preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with Andhra Pradesh politics and knowledge of Telugu desirable
Who Can Apply
Law, public policy, economics, or political science students/recent graduates with genuine interest in legislative research, parliamentary affairs, and policy analysis.
