About the Role

We are actively seeking a Patent Search Lead to be a part of our dynamic IP Search Team based in Noida. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with Fortune 100 clients, supporting them across diverse stages of IP lifecycle management. You will be engaged in a variety of projects including Prior-art Searches (Patentability/Validity/Invalidity), Evidence-of-Use, and Freedom-to-Operate analyses, specifically within the Chemistry/Pharma domain.
Our team comprises 30+ professionals and reports to the Sr. Manager/Director. While we have strong expertise in wireless communication, we are keen to connect with candidates who possess relevant skills or show an aptitude for working with emerging technologies.

About Your – Experience, Education, Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a scientific, technical, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IP services

  • Intermediate knowledge of patent laws across jurisdictions like the US and Europe

  • Proficient in using patent and non-patent literature search databases

  • Skilled in MS Word and Excel

  • Capable of conducting complex patent searches such as patentability, state of the art, FTO, and invalidity

  • Able to perform technical analyses of patent literature and identify key differentiators

  • Strong ability to build thorough search strategies to identify relevant prior art

  • Dedicated to producing high-quality, self-reviewed deliverables

  • Effective in communicating with clients and meeting expectations

  • Committed to meeting deadlines while ensuring deliverables align with project goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree (M.Sc./M.Tech/M.E./Ph.D.) in a scientific or technical discipline

  • Advanced Excel skills (charting, data handling, VBA/Power BI)

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patent search and analytics services that address both legal and business concerns related to IP

  • Reduce client operational costs through efficient and scalable service delivery

  • Build expertise in IP databases and literature sources via ongoing training and collaboration

  • Stay updated with technological advancements relevant to the industry

  • Contribute to team KPIs and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Accurately complete all assigned Project Insight tasks in a timely manner

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and procedures

About the Team

Our team consists of 60+ professionals primarily working on wireless communication-related searches. We serve clients from Pharma, R&D, and Legal sectors located across the US, APAC, and EMEA regions.
