We are seeking a sharp, adaptable, and experienced disputes lawyer to join our legal team as Manager – Legal (Disputes). This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in high-stakes situations, balancing strong legal expertise with sound business judgment. You’ll be the primary point of contact for all litigation and dispute resolution matters, playing a key role in safeguarding the company’s interests while supporting its strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies that align with business objectives.

Dispute Resolution: Oversee litigation and dispute cases, including civil, criminal, commercial, regulatory, arbitration, and consumer disputes, across jurisdictions in India.

Case Investigation: Conduct root cause analyses, manage internal investigations, and coordinate with stakeholders to gather factual inputs. Draft legal documents such as complaints and notices.

Law Firm Liaison: Coordinate with external counsel and law firms; manage briefs and ensure cost-effective legal outcomes.

Internal Legal Advisory: Provide litigation risk assessments and legal counsel to internal teams and senior leadership.

Regulatory Compliance: Address inquiries, notices, and proceedings from regulatory bodies and government agencies.

Drafting & Documentation: Prepare pleadings, affidavits, responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents.

Risk Mitigation: Identify legal risks early and help build internal awareness through training and proactive policy improvements.

MIS & Reporting: Maintain litigation dashboards and trackers to monitor case statuses, legal costs, and trends.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.

5 to 7+ years of hands-on litigation experience; a combination of law firm and in-house experience is preferred.

Strong understanding of Indian legal frameworks—civil, criminal, commercial, and regulatory.

Familiarity with courts, tribunals, arbitrators, and government regulators.

Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills.

High degree of independence, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
