About the Organiser

QAble is a unique initiative led by individuals from disability and queer communities, working at the crossroads of law, policy, and lived experiences. The organisation is committed to advancing the implementation of progressive laws like the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, the Mental Healthcare Act, and the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act. QAble drives its mission through awareness campaigns, advocacy, strategic litigation, content development, and more.

About the Internship

This is a two-month, part-time, remote internship open to all individuals. The program prioritises amplifying the voices of disabled and queer people. Interns will work on a variety of tasks including legal and policy research, drafting, advocacy strategy, and content creation for social media. Mentorship, a certificate of completion, and a stipend are offered.

About the Founder

Anchal Bhatheja, an alumna of the National Law School of India University (Class of 2023), currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy and consults with Mission Accessibility.

Internship Details

  • Duration: 2 months (extension possible)

  • Workload: 10–12 hours per week (fully remote and flexible)

  • Stipend: ₹3,000 per month

  • Focus Areas: Legal research, drafting, litigation support, social media, content creation, policy advocacy, and public awareness efforts
