Overview

Join Accenture, a global leader in professional services, as a Regulatory Compliance Associate specializing in Know Your Customer (KYC). This role is ideal for professionals with 1–3 years of experience in client onboarding, risk and compliance, and financial crime prevention.

Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & KYC Compliance

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and account maintenance processes.

  • Perform due diligence including Customer Identification Program (CIP) and KYC screening.

  • Conduct risk assessments, including PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) and adverse media screening.

Documentation & Review

  • Validate and process customer documentation in line with internal compliance standards.

  • Ensure accurate and complete data capture for regulatory audits and reporting.

  • Maintain proper documentation in accordance with internal controls and policies.

Communication & Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across compliance, operations, and legal teams.

  • Clearly communicate risks and issues to team leads and escalate where necessary.

Process Management & Reporting

  • Monitor, review, and track due diligence across various client types including high-risk entities.

  • Prepare reports, flag inconsistencies, and support audits and compliance checks.

  • Suggest process improvements and assist with compliance tool implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Experience

  • 1–3 years in KYC operations, AML compliance, or financial risk management.

  • Exposure to regulatory guidelines and risk-based client assessments.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Comfortable using online databases and third-party due diligence platforms.

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
