Senior Associate Opportunity – Dispute Resolution
AQUILAW is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join its dynamic Dispute Resolution team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for legal professionals with a solid background in civil litigation, including matters involving property disputes, constitutional issues, contractual obligations, and recovery proceedings. The position requires a proactive and structured approach to case management, court procedure compliance, legal research, and documentation. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi is essential, along with a client-first, solutions-oriented mindset. The selected candidate will work directly with Partner Neerav Merchant and the Principal Associate, providing support on high-stakes litigation and strategic advisory work.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

3 to 4 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in dispute resolution

In-depth knowledge of litigation processes related to the Bombay High Court and City Civil Court

Familiarity with commercial dispute resolution, including filing of miscellaneous and interim applications

Strong understanding of commercial laws and court procedures

Basic exposure to criminal litigation is preferred

Demonstrated capability in drafting, procedural compliance, and client interaction
