Office Overview:
The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Lucknow (CCA Region), functioning under the Income Tax Department, has invited applications under the Young Professional Scheme. The selected candidate will assist departmental officers in preparing cases admitted for hearing before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Lucknow.
Position Overview:
Applications are invited for the post of Young Professional. The role involves assisting in case preparation, research, and documentation relating to matters listed before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Lucknow.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assisting officers in preparation of cases admitted before the ITAT, Lucknow
- Conducting legal research in taxation laws and related matters
- Supporting drafting, documentation, and case file organisation
- Assisting in analysis of case records and preparation of briefs
- Providing ICT-based support where required
Eligibility:
- Indian Nationals holding a Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution, and/or Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Minimum 50% marks in: (3-year LL.B. program, or 5-year integrated LL.B. program, or Post-Graduation degree program)
- Chartered Accountants who have completed articleship in taxation
- Law graduates/post-graduates engaged in taxation research/projects
- Candidates with skills in Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
