The Delhi Judicial Reforms Council (DJRC) operates under the National Judicial Reforms Council and is affiliated with the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI)—India’s leading business chamber for women, dedicated to creating a global platform for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders across sectors.

About the Opportunity

DJRC invites female law students from

across India to apply for membership for the 2025–26 term. This initiative is geared toward students passionate about contributing to women-centric judicial reforms and legal empowerment. The council focuses on:

Strengthening the legal standing of stakeholders by advocating for inclusive reforms.
Spreading legal education to build awareness and empower individuals to exercise their rights.
Creating a safe and encouraging environment for women to freely access justice without fear or obstruction.
Promoting civic responsibility by fostering active legal participation.
Accelerating reform implementation through collaborative efforts with the judicial system.

Eligibility

Female students currently pursuing a law degree from a Bar Council of India-recognized institution are eligible to apply.

Role & Responsibilities

Members will:

Collaborate with fellow council members, including leadership roles such as President and Vice President.
Contribute toward creating a vision roadmap and strategy aligned with the council’s reform goals.
Lead community outreach programs, foster legal awareness, and build support networks.
Draft policy recommendations and reports for submission to relevant government bodies to aid systemic reform.
