Eligibility
The internship is open to students pursuing a 5-year integrated LL.B. program, specifically those in their 4th or 5th year from a recognized university. Applicants should have a keen interest in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and a basic understanding of civil and commercial laws. Strong research skills, drafting abilities, and effective verbal and written communication are essential. Prior exposure to IPR—through coursework, moot courts, or internships—will be an added advantage. Candidates must be available for full-time, in-office internships in Jaipur, for a minimum of 4 weeks or longer. The firm strongly encourages applications from women professionals who are looking to start or restart their legal careers.
Role
As an intern at G D Bansal & Associates, you will have the opportunity to work directly under experienced lawyers and gain exposure to real-world legal practice. Your responsibilities will include legal research on IP, civil, and commercial law, drafting petitions, affidavits, applications, and notices, and assisting in the preparation of briefs. You will also conduct case law research to identify precedents and support senior lawyers in court-related strategies. This internship is designed to provide practical insights into Intellectual Property practice while also allowing you to engage in diverse areas of law. The role ensures that interns develop professional skills in research, drafting, and legal analysis while building valuable networks in the legal industry.
