About the Organisation
Subodh law college (SLC) was established under the aegis of Rajasthan University in 2010 to maintain high standards in providing quality legal education. The college offers B.A.LL.B- five year integrated program and LL.B three years program. It is affiliated to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur and also recognized by Bar Council of India. In a short span of time the college of law has marked its distinct place in the state of Rajasthan.
Subodh Law College is a part of S.S Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti, a Not-for-Profit Society, established in 1918, which has been providing selfless service to the people at large for over nine decades. With 20 institutions running under its umbrella, Samiti is ranked among the largest groups of institutions in Rajasthan.
About the Journal
S.S. Jain Subodh Law College, Jaipur, is launching its volume 4 of its Biannual publication, Subodh Nexus (ISSN: 3048-5371(Online)). In this regard submissions are invited from academicians, researchers, professionals, and students under various categories.
Submission Categories
- Case Study: 2500 – 4000 words
- Article: 4000 – 6000 words
- Research Paper: 6000 – 8000 words
Please ensure that your manuscript falls within the prescribed word range for the chosen category. Submissions exceeding or falling short of the limit may be returned for revision.
Theme
There is no specific theme for the volume. All Submissions, whether relating to the discipline of law directly or otherwise (socio-legal), are welcome.
Submission Guidelines
- Plagiarism Policy: Any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited and the submission shall be original, unpublished, and an outcome of the author’s own efforts. The similarity index must not exceed 10% with proper citation of the sources. Submissions with similarity beyond that may be returned for revision.
- Citation Style: All references and in-text citations must strictly follow the Subodh Citation Style/Bluebook/ILI
- Format: Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman, Font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Co-authorship is limited to a maximum of two authors.
- Abstract: Each paper must be accompanied by an abstract (150–250) words
- Last Date for Submission: 30th October
- Publication Month: December

- Review Process: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Only original and unpublished works will be accepted.

Legal Cases (As per ILI style):

- Author/Entity, Title, available at URL (last visited Date).
Special Features for Social Sciences
- Emphasize the context in which social science research is discussed or applied.
- Provide for citing interviews, documentaries, and non-traditional sources relevant to social science research.
Referencing Repeated Sources
- Use “supra” for above-cited sources with the option to include a different page number.
- “Ibid.” for the same source and page as the immediately preceding citation; “Id.” if the page differs.
