About the Internship
The International Council of Jurists, London, invites applications for various positions at its Delhi Office. Office timings are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The stipend offered is ten thousand rupees per month along with a certificate of appreciation.
Eligibility
Long Term Internship (Minimum six months)
- Students pursuing a three-year LL.B. or five-year B.A. LL.B. programme are eligible to apply. Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of six months on a full-time basis.
- Office timings are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The stipend offered is ten thousand rupees per month along with a certificate of appreciation.
- Interns will be required to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, assist in court-related work, seminars, and publications, and prepare briefs and reports for internal use.
Short Term Internship (Minimum two months)
- Students pursuing a B.A. LL.B. or LL.B. programme can apply for the short-term internship. The minimum duration is two months.
- Office timings are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The stipend is five thousand rupees per month along with a certificate of appreciation.
- Interns will assist in research, drafting, preparing case summaries, and supporting academic writing, publications, and event coordination.
- Applications for both long-term and short-term internships are accepted on a rolling basis.
Associate (Full-Time Position)
- Applicants must be enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and have at least three years of active practice. They should be proficient in drafting, research, and oral arguments and be capable of appearing before the Supreme Court, High Courts, Tribunals, and District Courts.
- The tenure is one year, renewable annually based on performance. Office timings are from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the salary is thirty thousand rupees per month.
- The role involves drafting petitions and replies, conducting legal research, representing the organisation before courts, and supervising interns.
