About the International Seminar

The pursuit of maritime progress and enduring sustainability represents a non-negotiable prerequisite for ensuring that the burgeoning growth of global shipping, littoral development, and ocean-based economic sectors does not incur the irreversible cost of environmental degradation. Given that the world’s oceans serve as fundamental pillars supporting global commerce, sustaining diverse livelihoods, upholding critical biodiversity, and executing planetary climate regulation, the integration of sustainable maritime methodologies is paramount.

These practices are indispensable for safeguarding marine ecosystems while simultaneously facilitating robust economic prosperity. Through a deliberate strategy of harmonizing technological innovation with rigorous conservation stewardship, sovereign nations stand to realize profound, long-term advantages, notably the attainment of cleaner marine environments, enhanced navigational safety, and the establishment of resilient coastal communities. In the current global context, sustainable maritime development transcends a simple matter of importance; it constitutes an existential necessity for the viability of the planet and the enduring trajectory of the global economy.
