
About the Chambers
The office of Adv. Chitvan Singhal (CNM Law), New Delhi is engaged in a wide spectrum of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, with regular matters before: the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, trial courts, arbitral tribunals, NCLT and other statutory/quasi-judicial forums.

- Assessment Intern – Litigation & Arbitration (Final-year students)
Nature of Work
Selected candidates will work closely on:
- Preparing and refining pleadings: plaints, written statements, applications, writ petitions, replies/counter-affidavits, statements of claim/defence, counter-claims, rejoinders and related filings.
- Drafting and reviewing settlement-related documents, including consent terms, legal notices and replies.
- Assisting in strategy, client conferences and preparation of legal opinions on civil and commercial disputes.
- Briefing and appearing in matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, trial courts, arbitral tribunals, NCLT and other forums, including assistance in case management (compilations, briefs, hearing notes).
- Undertaking rigorous legal research on procedural and substantive issues arising in ongoing matters.
Eligibility & Profile
Associate (Litigation & Arbitration)

PQE: 0–1 year from enrolment.

Demonstrated interest and aptitude in civil/commercial litigation and arbitration.

Strong command over written English, legal drafting and structured research.

Prior exposure to Supreme Court/constitutional or commercial matters will be an added advantage.
Assessment Intern
- 5th year of a 5-year course or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. course.
- Minimum 5 months of prior internship experience, preferably in litigation or arbitration.
- Good research and writing skills, with willingness to work full-time from chambers and attend courts regularly.
