About the Opportunity
S.S. Rana & Co. is currently inviting applications for the position of Associate Advocate – Trademark to join its intellectual property practice.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
• Post Qualification Experience (PQE): 1–5 years
• Educational Qualification: LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course) or LL.M.
Candidates should possess experience or skills in:
• Conducting trademark searches and providing legal opinions
• Filing and prosecuting trademark applications and advising on trademark-related legal issues
• Managing and updating clients’ trademark portfolios
• Responding to client queries related to IP laws and practices in India and drafting legal opinions
• Drafting Notices of Opposition, Counter Statements, replies, notices, and rejoinders
• Handling opposition, cancellation, rectification proceedings, and preparing affidavits
• Attending show-cause hearings before the Trademark Registry
• Managing IP filings, prosecution procedures, and renewal matters
Skills Required
Candidates should also demonstrate:
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and technology-oriented work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
