Position Overview:

UNESCO is inviting applications for the role of Associate National Project Officer (Education). The position involves supporting the design, coordination, and implementation of education-related programmes, with a focus on policy support, research, and project management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation and monitoring of education projects and programmes
  • Conduct research, policy analysis, and data interpretation
  • Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies and partners
  • Draft reports, policy briefs, and technical documents
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation of project outputs

Eligibility:

  • Postgraduate degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related discipline
  • Relevant work experience in education, research, or programme management
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience with government or international organizations is desirable
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage
