The legal team handles a diverse portfolio of commercial and procurement-related matters within a supportive and inclusive working environment.
Position Overview:
This is a locum opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to assist solicitors on a wide range of commercial and public procurement matters. The role is primarily full-time, though part-time arrangements may be considered. It offers strong exposure to local authority legal work.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support solicitors across various commercial legal matters
- Draft, review, and collate commercial contracts, deeds, and grant agreements
- Assist in public procurement exercises
- Conduct legal research on relevant issues
- Review cases and respond to general legal enquiries
- Assist with handling Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
Eligibility:
- Experience as a Commercial Contracts Paralegal or in a similar legal support role
- Familiarity with commercial contracts and procurement processes
- Strong drafting, research, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and work within deadlines
- Prior experience in a local authority or public sector setting (preferred but not mandatory)
