ABOUT LEGAL RESEARCH COURSE
The Foundations of Legal Research course by Canonsphere is a carefully designed six-week intensive journey that equips law students, researchers, and early-career professionals with essential research and analytical skills. Starting with the fundamentals, the course introduces participants to primary and secondary sources of law, effective use of legal databases, and structured research methods. As the program progresses, learners are trained to think critically like a lawyer, analyze statutes and case law with depth, and craft precise, well-structured legal writing. Beyond the basics, the course explores specialized areas including international law, empirical research methods, and the use of legal technology, ensuring participants gain exposure to modern and diverse approaches to legal inquiry.
