ABOUT PROGRAM
This 2 Day Core-start Program on RTI:-Master the Right to Know is designed to equip citizens, legal professionals, students, journalists, and aspiring activists with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use the RTI Act as a tool for transparency and accountability. Experienced RTI practitioners and legal experts will guide participants through key aspects of the RTI Act, 2005, including the process of filing RTI applications, navigating the appeal system, and understanding exemptions and legal nuances under the Act. Through interactive sessions, participants will gain hands-on experience in drafting RTI applications, understanding how to seek specific information, and using RTI strategically to address issues of public concern. This 2 Day Core-start Program on RTI:-Master the Right to Know will also cover case studies, success stories, and recent developments in RTI law, enabling attendees to engage with governance confidently and effectively.

- Advocate Ahmad Daniyal Siddiqui,
Advocate Ahmad Daniyal Siddiqui completed his BLS/LLB degree from Rizvi Law College (affiliated to Mumbai University), where he developed a strong foundation in Constitutional Law. He further pursued a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from SVKM’s Kirit P. Mehta School of Law in 2019–20.His legal journey has been shaped by hands-on experience with a wide range of cases, extensive legal research, and appearances before various High Courts across jurisdictions, including the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. These experiences have deepened his passion for legal practice and strengthened his commitment to delivering justice to those who seek his counsel. Advocate Siddiqui is also deeply interested in teaching and is eager to contribute to the legal field through both academic engagement and practical advocacy. Over time, he has accumulated valuable tacit knowledge that continues to inform and enhance his professional approach.
Adv. Aditya Kumare is an independent legal practitioner and counsel representing various law firms and private clients across courts in Mumbai, as well as in Pune, Kolhapur, Delhi, and Belgaum. He brings over 13 years of rich legal experience, having worked for 8 years as a paralegal and 5 years as an associate with a tier-2 law firm at the Bombay High Court. Adv. Kumare holds a B.com. from Sydenham College, Mumbai, and an LL.B. from ILS Law College, Pune. He further earned his Master’s degree in Criminal and Security Law with distinction from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. His practice spans a wide range of criminal and civil litigation, and he is known for his strategic legal insight and strong courtroom advocacy.
